Clark, Job-Crushing Tax Hikes and Spending Plans

Instead of coming forward with new ideas to turn around Minnesota’s economy, Tarryl Clark believes that middle-class families should fund another round of stimulus spending, even after the first failed to keep unemployment below 8 percent as promised.

Of course Tarryl wouldn’t admit that her new spending plan would be paid for by raising taxes on job creators and Minnesota families.

“At today’s event, Clark repeatedly declined to endorse a way to pay for the measure. ‘They need to look at a variety of tools,’ Clark said.” (St. Cloud Times, 10/5/2011)
