John Tierney doubles down his bet on taxing and spending

June 25, 2012

Last night, John Tierney doubled down his bet on more taxing and spending. Tierney voted for the FY 2013 Congressional Black Caucus budget that would increase taxes on Massachusetts families by $4 trillion and increase spending by $153 billion. By voting for a extreme budget that straps Massachusetts families with more taxes and more debt, Tierney is proving he is unable to break his nasty gambling habit.

As you cover Tierney’s drastic budget votes please consider the following quote from the NRCC:

NRCC COMMENT: “John Tierney has been playing a dangerous game in Washington by supporting his party’s big-government policies at the expense of his constituents. Tierney’s addictive gambling with hardworking taxpayers’ money has devastated Massachusetts’ middle class families who know government can’t spend money it doesn’t have.” – NRCC spokesman Nat Sillin
