John Tierney…servants and helicopters modest
March Madness starts today! Do you think John Tierney filled out a bracket and is betting on who will win the NCAA basketball tournament?
Regardless, March has certainly become maddening for Tierney who is now being pressed by the public for answers. On Tuesday Tierney was asked by a reporter how could he not have known he was dining in the opulent headquarters of his family’s illegal gambling empire during a trip to Antigua.
You wouldn’t believe Tierney’s response…
TODAY’S QUESTION FOR TIERNEY:
In his brother-in law’s trial a witness “gave an insider’s tour of the gambling site’s opulent headquarters in a former Chinese embassy in Antigua, where, he said, domestic servants and even a helicopter pilot tended to the staff’s desires.”
When asked, Tierney said the location was just "a modest house in a modest neighborhood."
How can Tierney possibly consider an opulent former Chinese embassy with servants and a helicopter “a modest house”?
NRCC Comment: “John Tierney saying embassy buildings, servants and helicopters are modest is absurd and just the latest example that he is clueless and out of touch. If Tierney was truly that ignorant to his family’s gambling empire, what else is happening on his watch?” – NRCC Spokesman Nat Sillin
