Not Your Grandfather’s Chandler
Not Your Grandfather’s Chandler
Tuesday marked another Appalachian state democrat presidential primary and another strong rebuke by voters of President Obama and his job-destroying policies.
Consider this, in the seven counties that compose the new portion of Kentucky’s 6th District Obama lost to “uncommitted” in his primary. That’s correct, more Democrats voted against Obama than for him in the part of the 6th District that was supposed to help Ben Chandler. Furthermore, that trend extended throughout the district where the President lost 12 of 19 counties district-wide. It’s a clear sign of trouble for Democrats like Ben Chandler who have supported President Obama and his job-destroying agenda.
As you report on Ben Chandler covering up his record of being President Obama’s biggest cheerleader in Kentucky, consider the following quote:
NRCC Comment: “Ben Chandler has repeatedly put his support for President Obama’s job-destroying agenda ahead of Kentuckians while his constituents suffered under their policies. Yesterday Democrats in Chandler’s district put him on notice that they’ve had enough of his agenda, and enough of politicians who put Washington ahead of Kentucky’s interests.” – NRCC Spokesman Nat Sillin
HE SAID IT – CHANDLER ON OBAMA:
Chandler: “Barack Obama, I know will provide the steady hand and leadership we need to move us forward.”
BEN CHANDLER AND OBAMA – LOCK STEP:
- Chandler opposed repeal of ObamaCare and the $500 billion it cuts from Medicare.
- Chandler supported Obama’s failed stimulus that recklessly spent a trillion dollars of taxpayer money.
- Chandler supported Obama’s cap-and-trade energy tax.
