To Pay for ObamaCare, Current Seniors in Critz’s District Will See $1.8 Billion in Medicare Cuts
New Survey Gives Details of How Much ObamaCare Will Cut Medicare for Current Seniors in Pennsylvania
WASHINGTON — New census data shows that of the $716 billion in cuts to Medicare, current seniors in Mark Critz’s district will carry a staggering $1.8 billion of the cuts. Pennsylvania seniors paid into Medicare for their entire working lives and now Critz is slashing the program to fund ObamaCare and putting a board of unelected Washington bureaucrats in charge of their healthcare decisions.
“It’s troubling that funding ObamaCare is more important to Mark Critz than providing seniors with access to the affordable healthcare they deserve,” said NRCC Communications Director Paul Lindsay. “Pennsylvania seniors never expected that $1.8 billion of the Medicare they paid for will go to fund Critz’s job-destroying takeover of healthcare and give decisions to its board of 15 unelected and unaccountable bureaucrats.”
Current Pennsylvania seniors will see $1.8 billion in Medicare cuts in Mark Critz’s district alone. (“ObamaCare Cuts $700 Billion From Medicare,” American Action Network, 9/2012)
