Barrow Fundraising Appeal: I Support Obama
“Indeed, I have supported the President and the Democratic leadership, 85% of the time…” – John Barrow
Just when you think John Barrow can’t get anymore two-faced – he lives up to the Augusta Chronicle editorial that called him – “two-faced, disingenuous and perhaps the most shameless, duplicitous, self-serving politician of his era.”
Today, Georgia Tipsheet has uncovered a fundraising appeal where Barrow says… “Indeed, I have supported the President and the Democratic leadership, 85% of the time…”
This isn’t the first time Barrow has been caught red-handed trying to have it both ways… John Barrow removed a sentence from his campaign biography where he bragged about standing with Obama to pass the wasteful stimulus spending plan.
“And, as recently as February, the accomplishments listed on the website included the following: ‘Standing with President Obama to pass the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, which has already brought over $200 million in funding for roads, hospitals, schools, transportation, and housing to communities in the 12th district.’” (Savannah Morning News, 9/11/2012)
