will Hayden show up?

October 2, 2012

This might be the chance that Hayden Rogers has been looking for. During a recent debate he said:

“I’ll take the help of any President that wants to come in here and help me.”

What about the Vice President? Today, Vice President Joe Biden campaigns at UNC-Asheville to defend his party’s taxing, spending and borrowing platform. Will Hayden come join him?

Hayden Rogers has already been rewarded again and again for his undeniable advocacy of the Democrats’ reckless agenda in Washington:

– Endorsed by the Democrat Blue Dog Coalition (Roll Call, 4/26/2012)

– Received the national Democrats’ top candidate distinction, “Red-to-Blue” (Asheville Citizen-Times, 7/9/2012)

– His boss, Heath Shuler, said Hayden can “take over where [he] left off” continuing his job-killing policies and government intrusion into our healthcare. (Mountain Xpress, 8/9/2012)

As you cover Biden’s visit to western North Carolina today, please consider this comment on whether he will get an opportunity to strengthen his ties even further:

NRCC COMMENT: “With the strong support of national Democrats, there is no reason why Hayden Rogers should not want stand proudly with Joe Biden and solidify his connection to his party’s failed agenda. Let’s just hope Joe knows he’s actually in North Carolina this time, and not Virginia.” — NRCC spokeswoman Meagan Holder
