Is Anything He Says True?
David Gill has been dishonest with Illinois families and it seems that no topic is off limits for Gill to deceive voters. In today’s Bloomington Pantagraph we learned that David Gill ridiculously told untruthful tales about the weather. Weird right?
“Someone needs to get Democrat David Gill a thermometer.
During a radio interview last week, the emergency room doctor from Bloomington, who is running for Congress in the 13th district, had this to say about the March 20 primary election:
“I’m on this ballot because of 31,000 people that went out on a cold March day to put me on the ballot,” he said.
Temperatures across central Illinois were in the low 80s on March 20.”
Gill’s lack of honesty with voters has been very apparent over the last few weeks. Illinois families still don’t understand why Gill would make up a character named Susan for a TV ad and fundraising push. The St. Louis Post Gazette said the ad “lacks credibility because of his inability to offer specific details. The ad is shrouded in mystery because of it, especially in light of his previous campaign video in 2006.”
State Journal Register said, “Gill, an emergency room doctor, told me both people are real, but “Susan” is not the woman’s real name. “I’m by law not allowed to reveal who I’m taking care of,” Gill said, adding there are “dozens” of similar cases he could relate.”
NRCC Statement: “Whether it’s a fake patient named ‘Susan’ or the weather, David Gill has no problem deceiving voters. David Gill has proven to Illinois families that he doesn’t care about telling the truth so why should they trust him to be their Congressman.” – NRCC Spokeswoman Katie Prill
