VIDEO: New NRCC ad in OH-06

October 9, 2012

Wanted to share with you the latest NRCC television ad in OH-06 which uses Charlie Wilson’s own words to highlight his support for Obama’s War on Coal.

Wilson claims he was joking, but try telling that to the unemployed coal worker fired because of Obama’s job-killing regulations.

NRCC COMMENT: “Congressman Charlie Wilson may think he’s a comedian, but Ohioans aren’t laughing because over the past four years of the Obama-Wilson War on Coal, the joke has been on Ohio workers. As Wilson continues to double down on his support for President Obama, Ohioans will reject Wilson and his War on Coal in November.”- NRCC spokeswoman Christyn Keyes

ANNOUNCER: Does Charlie Wilson really think job loss in Ohio is funny?

CHARLIE WILSON: We don’t need to fire Obama, we don’t need to stop the war on coal.

ANNOUNCER: Wilson claims he was just mocking a slogan, but after 100,000 Ohio jobs have been lost under President Obama, his job killing war on coal shouldn’t be mocked.

CHARLIE WILSON: We don’t need to fire Obama, we don’t need to stop the war on coal.

ANNOUNCER: Ohio jobs are not material for a joke. That’s why we fired Charlie Wilson.
