DCCC to Erin Bilbray: “Welcome to the Good Life”

It’s so cliché. An energetic candidate for Congress wins, get to the nation’s capital with the best of intentions, but then becomes the ultimate DC insider and career politician.

For potential Democratic Congressional candidate Erin Bilbray, it appears as if she’s “gone D.C.” even before she’s announced her candidacy.

We already know that Bilbray is the handpicked candidate of Harry Reid, and now we see exactly what kind of doors that has opened for Bilbray amongGood Life the D.C. elite.

Not only did Bilbray get to spend the weekend “hobnobbing with the party elite and donors at inaugural festivities,” but she also got to experience a bit of La Dolce Vita as a guest at the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee’s inaugural luncheon held at the Italian Embassy and featuring performers John Legend and Cindi Lauper.

Meanwhile, Nevada remains burdened with the highest unemployment rate in the United States.
