Media Ramps Up Pressure On SuperPAC Seven
The heat is rising on The SuperPAC Seven this morning.
They began the week appearing an infomercial gushing that over the millions that flowed from out-of-state liberals. Some even crediting the Democrat SuperPAC as the only reason they won.
Within hours, their rank hypocrisy was discovered with quotes and video of them from just a few months ago railing against outside money—calling them every name in the book!
Several news outlets have taken note and have taken the SuperPAC Seven to task.
“In a short testimonial circulated online Tuesday, Rep. Ami Bera talks up one of the major reasons his second bid to oust GOP Rep. Dan Lungren was successful.
Bera doesn’t mention his aides, donors or campaign volunteers in the Web video. Instead, he thanks a Democratic super PAC that spent big to help him win his competitive Sacramento County race.”
“The NRCC is blasting newly elected Congressman Sean Patrick Maloney for his role in a new web ad highlighting the success of the House Majority PAC in the last election cycle.
Maloney is one of a handful of freshman Democrats who talk about the impact the PAC had on their election to Congress. Candidates are not allowed to coordinate with these Super PACs during campaigns. But taping an ad for them after the fact isn’t against the law.”
