Carol Shea-Porter Continues to Break “Bipartisan Pledge”
Carol Shea-Porter just doesn’t seem to be interested in supporting any bipartisan bills in Congress.
First she voted against No Budget, no Pay – a bill that required Congress to do its job and pass a budget before its members get paid, (H.R. 325, Vote No. 30, 285-144, 1/23/13).
Then she voted against the Require a Plan Act – a bill that required that the President offer a plan to balance the nation’s budget, (H.R. 444, Vote No. 38, 253-167, 2/6/2013).
Now, she has bucked the bipartisan trend once again by voting to increase her own pay, (H.R. 273, Vote No. 44, 261-154, 2/15/2013).
Remember when Carol Shea-Porter made a post-election pledge to be bipartisan.
So much for that!
“After a short time in Congress, Carol Shea-Porter is showing that she’s not an independent voice for New Hampshire. She’d rather fall in line with Nancy Pelosi and the ultra-liberal wing of her party than vote for the kind of bipartisan, common sense solutions that Granite Staters deserve.”
