Boehner: President Using Military Personnel as a Prop to Call for More Tax Hikes

In his continued dereliction of duties as President, Obama is flying down to Newport News, VA today to campaign on the taxpayer dime for more tax hikes. Speaker Boehner set the record straight: if the President were really interested in finding a solution to his sequester, he would be working with Senate Democrats to pass something instead of campaigning.

He reminded reporters that the House has twice passed legislation to replace the sequester’s spending cuts. Now, the Senate must act. Not only hasn’t the Senate acted on either of the house bills but they have failed to come up with an option of their own.

“We should not have to move a third bill before the Senate gets off their ass and begins to do something,” Boehner said.”The House has done its job, It’s time for the Senate to act. We’ve acted,”

Boehner added that if the Senate acts, the House would be prepared to act “quickly.”  Watch the video below:
