Unions Want Colbert Busch In And Boeing Out
Elizabeth Colbert Busch is out with a new ad today. In it, she pledges to refuse special interest pledges.
Yet, the truth sounds quite different.
Jim Geraghty of National Review is reporting this morning that Colbert Busch has taken $26,000 from unions, including $5,000 from The International Association of Machinists.
In April 2011, The International Association of Machinists filed a complaint with the National Labor Relations Board after Boeing announced it was moving operations from Washington state to North Carolina.
The union’s obstruction of South Carolina’s economic growth is not popular among South Carolina voters. The fact that this same union is financing Colbert Busch’s campaign show both her hypocrisy and how out of step she is with Palmetto state voters.
