Advocates or Hypocrites? Kirkpatrick, Sinema, Bustos and Esty’s Deafening Silence

May 2, 2013

silenceVice President Joe Biden has come under heavy fire following his comments at a DC fundraiser last night where he said women are afraid to report rape and abuse because they fear “getting raped again by the system.”

Biden’s use of rape and abuse to advance the Democrats’ political agenda is shameful. But since this was said by the gaffe-master himself, the severity of his claims will be shrugged off as “Joe being Joe” and we will all move on.

But this is bigger than Joe Biden.

Rape and abuse are being used as a chess pieces by Democrats from all walks of life – our Vice President, young activists, and media personalities.

Biden’s comment comes on the heels of a female student and liberal activist at the University of Wyoming being charged with posting a fake rape threat to a social media site…against herself. She was attempting to frame conservatives.

And just last month, Hardball host Chris Matthews asked on his show if “wife beating” was something that women “really worried about.”

“Liberal groups like EMILY’s list pride themselves on funding female Democratic candidates and House Democrats are the first to hype the number of female representatives in their caucus. So where is their outrage? Ann Kirkpatrick and Krysten Sinema of Arizona, Cheri Bustos of Illinois, and Elizabeth Esty of Connecticut made their anger to ‘attacks’ on women more than clear during their campaign when it fit their narrative to get elected – but now that they’re in Congress, have all turned a blind eye when Democrats are the offenders.” — NRCC Spokeswoman, Alleigh Marré
