NRCC Launches Online Web Ads Targeting House Democrats Who Have Been Silent On This Issue

WASHINGTON – After this week’s shocking news that the IRS has been inappropriately targeting conservative groups, the National Republican Congressional Committee has released a series of online web ads calling on 13 House Democrats to condemn the IRS’ behavior.

“The IRS has clearly overstepped their boundaries, and it’s time for these House Democrats to denounce their behavior and call for action,” said NRCC Communications Director Andrea Bozek. “These Members know better than to allow this type of constitutional affront to occur, and their silence is offensive to their constituencies and to endless groups across the country.”

The ads will run online in the following Districts:

Scott Peters (CA-52), Elizabeth Esty (CT-05), Joe Garcia (FL-26), Bill Enyart (IL-12), Dave Loebsack (IA-02), Tim Walz (MN-01), Collin Peterson (MN-07), Rick Nolan (MN-08), Mike McIntyre (NC-07), Pete Gallego (TX-23), and Nick Rahall (WV-03)
