Jay Carney’s ObamaCare Predictions: Oops?

Ahead of President Obama’s ObamaCare speech in California tomorrow, White House Press Secretary Jay Carney yesterday stated this:

“He’ll highlight the promising news that despite dire predictions, early data on insurance competition and premiums in the state show that ACA — the Affordable Care Act — is creating quality affordable choices for Californians who plan to buy insurance this fall,” press secretary Jay Carney said.

Hmm…seems like Jay hasn’t been doing his homework. Just earlier this week, Forbes reported that in California, individual health insurance premiums will be skyrocketing up to 146%.

Perhaps Jay should have done some research before promising more “affordable choices” for hard-working families, especially when the data is showing the exact opposite.
