Chairman Walden’s Statement on Congressman Tom Cotton’s Senate Candidacy Announcement

National Republican Congressional Committee Chairman Greg Walden (R-OR) released the following statement today in response to the announcement by Rep. Tom Cotton (R-AR) that he will run for Senate in 2014:

“In Congress, Tom has ensured that the conservative principles and beliefs of his constituents have had a strong voice in Congress. As a veteran and native Arkansan, it’s clear that Tom understands the value of public service as he has always put his country first.  I am grateful to him for his service to our nation and to Arkansas families while in Congress.
