6 NSYNC Songs That Perfectly Describe Democrats’ Problems

August 20, 2013

The world is reacting to the news that 90s pop phenomenon NSYNC is going to be reunited for the first time in nearly a decade on stage this Sunday at the Video Music Awards. It got us at the NRCC singing some of our favorite NSYNC hits, and we realized that Democrats in Washington, nervous about 2014, might find themselves listening to some of these as well.

Here are 6 NSYNC songs that perfectly describe Democrats and their problems heading into 2014.

1. Bye Bye Bye

Democrats promised the American people that with ObamaCare, if we liked our health plan, we could keep it. That didn’t turn out to be the case, as increasing numbers of Americans have to say goodbye to their health insurance coverage due to ObamaCare’s costly and destructive regulations.

2. This I Promise You

Democrats promised that ObamaCare would lower health care premiums for all Americans. Now that the health law is speeding into high gear, health care costs are skyrocketing due to the law’s burdensome new taxes, rules, and regulations. So much for that promise.

3. I Want You Back

Ever since Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats were kicked out of Congress in 2010 due to their liberal agenda, President Obama has made it clear that he wants Nancy Pelosi back in the Speaker’s Chair. House Republicans – and the voters – have made it even clearer that that’s not going to happen.

4. Together Again

Remember when Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid had complete control of Washington? Voters made sure that’s no longer the case, but that hasn’t stopped Democrats from trying to get these three back together again. The last time they were together, they brought us the wasteful stimulus, the destructive ObamaCare, a job-killing cap and trade bill, crushing debt and higher taxes.

Leave the reunions for NSYNC – Americans simply can’t afford these Democrats getting together again.

5. It’s Gonna Be Me

There’s a battle brewing in California’s 31st district that highlights the Democrats’ floundering recruiting efforts so far. The fight between establishment candidate Pete Aguilar, former Congressman Joe Baca, EMILY’s List endorsed Eloise Gomez Reyes, and San Bernardino school district official Danny Tillman is shaping up to be a disastrous one. All the candidates fighting for the right to rubber stamp Obama’s liberal agenda may be humming this song, but no matter who ends up the “winner,” they’ll still be far out of the mainstream for California families.

6. I’ll Never Stop

Voters have made it clear they’ve grown tired of Obama’s liberal, big government agenda which hasn’t created jobs or grown the economy. But judging by the President’s latest “pivot” back to the economy, it looks like that’s all were going to get from this White House.
