5 Questions Nancy Pelosi Should Ask Blackjack John Tierney – But Won’t

August 22, 2013

In case you missed it, Nancy Pelosi is heading up to Massachusetts tomorrow to lend a helping hand to Blackjack John Tierney. We put together the following list of questions that Pelosi should, but won’t ask Tierney during her visit.

1. Given that you are on the House Oversight Committee, how did you not ask questions about the $7 million in illegal gambling money that your wife was managing?

2. Your brother-in-law is a fugitive for running an illegal gambling ring in the United States. Did it never cross your mind that his gambling ring in Antigua might also be illegal?

3. During her criminal trial, your wife invoked “spousal privilege” so that she wouldn’t have to testify about what you knew about her and her brother’s criminal activity. If you knew nothing about the illegal activity, why would your wife refuse to testify about what you knew and how you knew it?

4. Why did you fight the Boston Globe for so long about releasing your tax returns if you had nothing to hide?

5. After pleading guilty and being sentenced, your brother-in-law said you knew all about the illegal international gambling ring and that you threw your wife under the bus to save your political career. Did you lose your sense of right and wrong at some point in your life, or did you never have that sense in the first place?
