5 Democrat Announcements Worse Than Ben Affleck As Batman

August 23, 2013

Last night, Ben Affleck was announced as the new Batman. The casting choice promptly set off an outcry on the internet and some fans are currently petitioning Warner Brothers studios to drop Affleck from the role. It got us thinking: the announcement of Affleck’s casting was bad, but there have been worse things!

Because it’s Friday, we’ve decided to compile the top 5 Democrat Announcements Worse Than Ben Affleck As Batman.

1. The Employer Mandate Delay

out of luck

On the cusp of the July 4th weekend, the Obama administration delayed ObamaCare’s employer mandate. In a stunning admission of failure, they unilaterally postponed a major component of the law. Later, the White House threatened to veto bills to codify the move into law and to also give the same delay to middle-class families across the country.

2. Another Pivot!

In what’s become almost a seasonal rite, the White House announced a new “pivot” to finally focus on jobs and the economy. In a few short days, he had already moved back to his liberal agenda. We eagerly await the next “pivot” currently scheduled for sometime later this year.

3. OFA’s “Action August”

obamacare rally

OFA recently announced its plan for “Action August,” intending to focus on selected issues during 5 days this month. One problem: they forgot about jobs and the economy. It appears they’ve simply lost focus of the number one issue Americans care about. When Democrats finally do talk about it (see #2), they pay lip service during a campaign event or two, then move on quickly.

4. Joe Biden As Obama’s Running Mate

5. So About Those Conservative Groups…

Who was the genius that thought a planted question would be a great way to announce a government agency targeted Americans for their political beliefs? Well, that would be Lois Lerner, the IRS official at the center of the scandal. Not only was it a disgrace that the agency targeted Americans inappropriately, but the fact the she clumsily announced it didn’t make it much better.
