Obama Administration Using $12 Million In Taxpayer Funds To Sell ObamaCare

September 6, 2013

In the latest effort to prop up President Obama’s failing healthcare law, his administration is planning a $12 million ad buy targeting 13 states.

As the centerpiece of ObamaCare, the federal health insurance exchanges, go live on October 1st, they’re pulling out all the stops to sell this “train wreck.”

According to Politico’s Alex Burns and Kyle Cheney:

“The Center for Medicare Services at the Dept. of Health and Human Services has reserved at least $12 million in airtime starting Sept. 30 in Texas, Florida, Pennsylvania, Arizona, Georgia, Missouri, Ohio, Indiana, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Louisiana and Michigan.”

ObamaCare is bad enough on its own. We don’t need to throw $12 million of our tax dollars into an ad campaign for it.

Mr. President, enough is enough.
