Administration Spending $700,000 In State To Prop Up Disastrous Law

WASHINGTON – The Obama Administration is spending $12 million in taxpayer funds on television ads to try and prop up their disastrous healthcare law–$700,000 of that will be spent in North Carolina. It’s time Mike McIntyre speak out against President Obama using taxpayer dollars to promote a law that is not only increasingly unpopular, but is also raising premiums for families.

“North Carolina families are struggling to understand why McIntyre is allowing their hard-earned money to be wasted on ObamaCare infomercials,” said NRCC Communications Director Andrea Bozek. “Enough is enough – McIntyre should tell the Obama Administration to cancel the taxpayer-funded ObamaCare commercials immediately.”

The Obama Administration Is Spending $12 Million On ObamaCare TV Ads. “Federal health officials have reportedly booked at least $12 million in airtime across 13 states in order to promote ObamaCare this fall….The multimillion-dollar push is focused on red states where Republican leaders have resisted the Affordable Care Act, including Louisiana, Texas, Florida and Pennsylvania, according to the report.”  (Elise Viebeck, “Report: HHS To Promote Obamacare With $12M Ad Buy,” The Hill, 9/5/13)
