“I am a 34 yr old married man with 2 daughters. My wife works and has our 2 children on her plan through her employer. I got an individual policy through Aetna because it was cheaper and offered the same services as my wife’s.
At the beginning of October, 2013, I received a letter saying that my current plan, which was $101 per month would be going to $302 per month. I do not qualify for subsidies as far as I know and will be have to drop my current plan to go on to my wife’s, which is now the cheaper of the two options.”
