ObamaCare Cancelled Health Insurance For a Virginia Grandmother Who Has Cancer

November 25, 2013

The ObamaCare nightmare has become a reality for one grandmother in Virginia Beach, Virginia.

Debra Fishericks enjoys her employer-sponsored health insurance, which she relies on for her battle with kidney cancer. She recently learned, however, that her insurance company will be canceling her health plan because it does not meet the requirements of the President’s health care law.

To make matters worse, her employer has said she will be unable to provide a new health plan for her employees, due to ObamaCare’s exorbitant costs. Debra began to look on the ObamaCare website, only to find that its options were too expensive.

Debra hopes she’ll eventually find a plan that fits her budget so she can still make trips to Indiana to visit her grandson. “If I couldn’t go to see him,” Debra said, “that’s the worst.”
