2013 Fail Of The Year: Kathleen Sebelius

December 11, 2013

TIME Magazine announced its “Person of the Year” this morning and while Kathleen Sebelius may have come up short, her “accomplishments” should not go unrecognized.

She is, after all, the key architect of the disastrous law that is raising premiums, canceling plans, and whose site is still a technical debacle.

That’s why, while she may not have claimed the “Person of the Year” title, she certainly claimed the “Fail of the Year” title.

It just keeps getting worse for the law. According to a new NBC News/Wall St. Journal poll, half of those polled believe the law was a bad idea. It’s also proving to be an electoral albatross for Democrats—leading to an all-time high disapproving of President Obama’s job performance and causing Democrat candidates to drop their campaigns mere weeks after the launch.

It’s a good thing that DNC Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz vowed all Democrats will run on ObamaCare next year.

By keeping Kathleen Sebelius in contention for its “Person of the Year,” TIME Magazine has shown just how much 2013 was defined by ObamaCare’s massive failures. Democrats will be responsible for these failures and can rest assured 2014 will be defined by them as well.

Congratulations…or something.
