The First DCCC Recruiting Fail Of 2014

January 7, 2014

It only took a week for our friends at the DCCC to have their first recruiting failure of 2014.

Val Demings, the liberal candidate who ran in Florida’s 10th district in 2012, decided she will not run for Congress again.

It appears that the daunting task of defending ObamaCare is simply too much for candidates this cycle. As our Democrat counterparts scurry to find another liberal to run, let’s do a quick recap of their devastating failures in just the past few weeks:

About a month ago, the highly-touted Nebraska recruit Pete Festersen dropped out of the race just months after announcing.

Two weeks later, longtime Democrat Congressman Jim Matheson announced his retirement rather than face voters in November. Keep in mind that Matheson even voted AGAINST ObamaCare. It’s so bad out there for Democrat candidates that even those who oppose the disastrous law are having a tough time.

As the first week of January finishes, we can already see what Democrats are in store for in 2014.
