It’s Official: President Obama Is Late Submitting His Budget To Congress
It’s official: President Obama’s budget is late.
The law requires the president to submit a budget by the first Monday in February (yesterday). Yet last month the White House announced they won’t submit one until March 4th…at least that’s what they say.
It’s not like this is a “one time thing” for the Obama Administration. In fact, this is the 4th time in 5 years their budget has been late.
Creating and submitting a budget to Congress is a basic function of the presidency. It’s obvious they just don’t take their governing responsibility seriously.
But then again, President Obama–along with Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid–racked up nearly $7 trillion in debt, so their lack of commitment to our current fiscal crisis is less than surprising.
