More Democrat Hypocrisy: DCCC Chairman And Others Run Away From Medicare Cuts They Supported
Ever since David Jolly defeated a highly-touted Democrat recruit (and ObamaCare defender) in a congressional district won twice by President Obama, Democrats have gone into full freak-out mode.
This DCCC spin is ridiculous: “In Heavily Republican District, Democrats Proved They Can Compete.”

As many Democrats saw the writing on the wall yesterday, they desperately ran from their support of ObamaCare and its cuts to Medicare. Several vulnerable Democrats, including DCCC Chairman Steve Israel, signed a letter asking CMS (Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services) Administrator Marilyn Tavenner to reverse the Obama Administration’s planned cuts to the program.
Try as they might, it’s simply too late. Democrats like Israel support this law and just a few months ago pledged to “own” it.
Before they feign indignation at the cuts they support, Chairman Israel and the other ObamaCare supporters who signed this letter should apologize for championing them in the first place. They supported cuts to programs seniors count on and now they have the gall to run away from them. It’s the height of hypocrisy.
I guess Democrats are more worried about November than we thought…
