President Obama’s Disapproval Rating Just Hit a New Record High

Democrats and the White House may be hoping that their situation can’t get any worse – but it can.

A new poll from AP-GfK released yesterday found that 59% of Americans now disapprove of President Obama – a point higher than the previous high set at the end of 2013.

Will House Democrats be asking President Obama to stay away from the campaign trail this fall?

The AP-GfK poll shows 59 percent of Americans now disapprove of Obama — a point higher than the previous high set in December.

Obama’s approval rating stands at 41 percent. That’s the second-lowest figure the poll has ever found.
