Brownley Can’t Even Bother To Support A Budget

California Democrat Didn’t Vote For A Budget This Year

WASHINGTON – What are we paying her for? California voters sent Julia Brownley to Washington to stand up and make the tough decisions. They want more jobs, less debt, and a better future for their families. And all Brownley has given them is “no.”

Julia Brownley hasn’t bothered to support a single budget this year. California voters deserve better than that. Families across the state have to set a budget, why should they expect any different from Brownley? If she was serious about wanting to fix our nation’s challenges, she could have at least supported a budget—any budget.

“Julia Brownley couldn’t be bothered to support a budget this year,” said NRCC Communications Director Andrea Bozek. “What are we paying her for? California voters have heard enough excuses. They expect her to lead.”
