#TBT – That Time A Democrat Congresswoman Refused To Discuss Benghazi With Her Constituents

May 1, 2014

It’s Throwback Thursday (or #tbt for short) and that means it’s time to look back at some of the worst Democrat fails.

Since it was uncovered that the White House withheld a crucial email on Benghazi, the attack and subsequent Obama Administration cover-up has been back in the news.

The scandal also led to a disastrous moment for New Hampshire Congresswoman Annie Kuster. When questioned at a town hall about the attack on our diplomatic compound, she inexplicably claimed she was “certainly not here to talk to talk about Benghazi.”

She then proceeded to debate the finer points of geography and civics with her constituents, arguing that Benghazi wasn’t even in the Middle East and that the House bill in question was actually a Senate bill (both false).

Kuster spent much of 2013 in the news for all the wrong reasons. First it was revealed she forgot to pay her taxes on time and then ran from reporters when questioned about it.

Now, with Benghazi back in the news, it’s time to look back at one of Kuster’s crowning failures.
