Team USA’s Sunday night World Cup match against Portugal, which ended in a tie, was hard to watch for some American fans.
But, as millions of spectators saw live on television and as Buzz Feed confirmed this morning, one American fan in particular was keeping morale at the stadium high.
America’s 26th Republican President, Teddy Roosevelt, was cheering on Team USA. Or, as he calls himself in honor of the World Cup, Teddy Goalsevelt.

It appears when Teddy Roosevelt is not using his “big stick” diplomacy or conserving America’s natural parks, he is also an avid soccer fan!
