Looks Like This Democrat Plagiarized His “5 Point Plan”

June 26, 2014

We all knew that Aaron Woolf was a “press release kind of guy,” but the least he can do is come up with the substance of those press releases himself.

Yesterday Woolf released his “five point plan.” What Woolf apparently didn’t mention in his press release was the fact that fellow DCCC Red-to-Blue candidate Aimee Belgard released almost exactly the same plan. On the exact same day. Her release is attached below the comment.

So what happened here? Did Woolf and Belgard magically come up with this“plan” at the exact same time? Did Woolf take Belgard’s idea? Vice-versa?

Or was this “plan” fed to both Woolf and Belgard by the same source – Nancy Pelosi’s Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee?

From this view, it sure looks like Aaron Woolf just tried to pass off someone else’s idea as his own and that is what is commonly known as plagiarism.

NRCC Comment: “Is it really too much to ask self-proclaimed ‘press release kind of guy’ Aaron Woolf to come up with some original ideas for those press releases? If Woolf is only going to release ‘plans’ sent to him by his Washington D.C. handlers, maybe we need to change his moniker to ‘a cut-and-paste press release kind of guy.’”– NRCC Spokesman Ian Prior
