Not Even National Tragedies Will Stand Between President Obama And His Fundraising
President Obama is addicted to fundraising. He’s the campaigner in chief.
He just can’t get enough of it – even during times of national tragedy.
Yesterday, the president decided it was a bigger priority to raise money for Nancy Pelosi and her campaign arm than to actually visit the border and see first-hand the crisis and chaos occurring at the Mexican border.
He was in Texas. It would have been easy, as even Democrats are pointing out.
But none of this should be a surprise.
- This is the same president who went to a fundraiser in Vegas the day after the attack on our American embassy in Benghazi. (HERE)
- In February, the president attended a DNC fundraiser on the same day Russian troops stormed Crimea. (HERE)
- Last month, when Islamic terrorists where headed into Baghdad, the president was off to Laguna Beach. (HERE)
After winning reelection, President Obama said his No. 1 priority was to make Nancy Pelosi Speaker of the House again – not jobs, not national security, not turning around the economy.
Clearly, he wasn’t exaggerating.
