More Sexism From VA Democrat John Foust
John Foust has gone too far. At an event yesterday in Leesburg, Foust had the audacity to claim that Barbara Comstock has never “had a real job.”
From Ashburn Rising:
“On creating jobs, Foust said, ‘In her mind that means giving tax benefits to special interests and the super wealthy. I don’t think she’s even had a real job.’”
Is that because women aren’t allowed to have real jobs, John? Or because you find it amusing to demean Comstock’s career as an attorney, stay-at-home mom and public servant?
Barbara Comstock’s “Un-Real” Jobs:
- Stay-at-home mom while attending law school
- Serving the people of the 10th District as an aide to Congressman Frank Wolf
- Served as a Senior Official at the Justice Department post 9/11
- Senior partner at a law firm
- Small businesswoman
- And currently serving her community as a Delegate in Richmond
John Foust should apologize immediately for his sexist comments. Working moms across the 10th District deserve more from a political candidate.
NRCC Statement: “It’s sickening that John Foust would make such a sexist comment towards Barbara Comstock. What gives Foust the right to demean Barbara’s successful career in the workforce? Only a tone-deaf, sexist politician would stoop as low as Foust and it is offensive to women throughout Northern Virginia.”– Katie Prill, NRCC Spokeswoman
