Collin Peterson, Barack Obama, and Milli Vanilli

January 21, 2015

Milli VanilliAnother year, another State of the Union, and a whole lot more of the same. And despite another clear rebuke by the American people in November, the President has decided that he will barrel ahead with his liberal agenda. After six long-winded speeches full of recycled platitudes and old ideas, it’s time for the President and his party to heed voters’ demand for real change – and fast.
And when you think of someone who embodies the dynamic change voters called for in November, does Collin Peterson come to mind? Didn’t think so.

But really, how could he? When Peterson was first elected, the Dow Jones was topping 3,000 (it recently peaked at over 18,000) and Milli Vanilli had just lost their Grammy for lip syncing.

Clearly, the times have changed, but Collin Peterson hasn’t.

NRCC Comment: “After 24 years in Congress, Collin Peterson has done all he can do. For the Minnesota families who are still struggling to make ends meet, a good job and steady paycheck far outweigh any political legacy. It’s time for change, and that starts with Collin Peterson.” – NRCC Spokesman Zach Hunter
