Annie Kuster Votes To Fire Herself
April 16, 2015
Yesterday, Annie Kuster voted to fire herself. She did so by voting in favor of H.R. 1563, the Federal Employee Tax Accountability Act, which makes individuals with a “seriously delinquent tax debt” ineligible to remain, or to become, federal employees.
You would think someone like Kuster, who has been delinquent on over $40,000 in taxes since 2010, would have voted against firing those collecting a federal paycheck. Did Annie not connect the dots that, given her less-than-stellar tax-paying record, she would be firing herself from her $174,000 per year job?
Oh Annie, you truly are the gift that keeps on giving.
