Scott Peters tells the LA Times that doing his job is too much work
This morning, the LA Times put a spotlight on Scott Peters’ hypocrisy after Peters refused to support any of the seven budgets offered in the House after campaigning on his support of ‘no budget, no pay’ legislation.
In fact, when asked why he didn’t propose his own budget, as any member is entitled to do, Peters justified his lack of leadership by saying that “writing his own budget would have taken a lot of work.”
Ironically, the same Scott Peters who is complaining that crafting a worthwhile budget would be too much work recently introduced a bill to force Congress to work five days a week, saying Congress wasn’t working hard enough to create “substantive legislation.”
Apparently Scott Peters’ hypocrisy knows no bounds.
