A 3rd Dem says no in NV-03

After two very public recruiting failures, Democrats have unbelievably been turned down by a third potential candidate in Nevada’s 3^rd Congressional District. Add news anchor Paula Francis to the list of names that have declined to run for the open seat in CD3.

The timing of a third recruiting failure in this open seat is especially embarrassing for the DCCC after Roll Call published a story today about House Democrats’ flailing recruiting efforts nationwide. All across the country, potential candidates can’t say “no” fast enough to the DCCC.

“Not one, not two, but three times now have potential candidates rebuffed Democrats’ recruiting efforts in Nevada’s 3^rd Congressional District. It seems Democrats are left with no other option than to scrounge the bottom of the barrel for a sacrificial lamb to run in CD03.” – NRCC spokesman Zach Hunter
