NRCC Chairman Greg Walden Statement on Paul Ryan’s Election to Speaker of the House

National Republican Congressional Committee Chairman Greg Walden today released the following statement in response to Paul Ryan’s election to Speaker of the House.

“I congratulate Representative Paul Ryan on being elected Speaker of the House of Representatives.  As the proud husband to Janna and father of Liza, Charlie and Sam, Speaker Ryan has a constant reminder of why we must continue our fight to preserve the American dream.  Speaker Ryan has invaluable experience serving the people of Wisconsin’s First District and through his leadership on the House Ways and Means Committee that will enable him to hit the ground running as Speaker.
