Democrats to settle on “Plan E” in VA-10

According to The Washington Post, Democrats are luring LuAnn Bennett over from her home in the D.C. Ritz Carlton’s “Tower of Power” to buy a Congressional seat in VA.  Bennett is “Plan E” for Virginia Democrats after they failed to get four (4) candidates who actually live in the Commonwealth and/or VA-10 to run against Barbara Comstock.

It’s not surprising Democrats had to look outside of Virginia to find a candidate when you consider that Comstock beat another self-funder by nearly 17 points in a highly targeted race by the DCCC in 2014 – especially with recent polling showing Comstock in a “strong position for re-election.”
