STUDY: Ami Bera Is One Of The Least Effective Members of Congress
Here’s your number for the day: 0%. That’s Ami Bera’s effectiveness ranking, according to a study by InsideGov that looked at how effective members of Congress have been at shepherding their bills through the legislative process. KFBK Sacramento highlighted Bera’s dismal 0% ranking which puts him at the bottom of the Congressional class and earns him the dubious honor of being one of the least effective members of Congress.
The ranking is based on Bera’s failure to get a single bill passed out of his assigned committees, a very low bar compared to the work required to get a bill approved by the entire House of Representatives or signed into law by the President. Elected in 2012, Bera has virtually nothing to show 7th District voters for sending him to Washington.
