PA-06: A bad weekend for the DCCC, which falls flat on its face two times in under 41 hours

In PA-06, Democrats are moving on from “top-tier recruit” Mike Parrish as a challenger to Ryan Costello.  According to Roll Call, “Parrish’s campaign has floundered and Democratic strategists are moving on and searching for another candidate.”  They have also changed their PA-06 rating to “Safe for Republicans.”

That really stings if you’re the DCCC.  Not only did the DCCC designate Costello to their “One Term Wonder” program, but they also lost their top recruit in NY-19 on Friday afternoon in an open seat where “Democrats don’t have many backup options.”

Simply put, this sums up the DCCC’s weekend.
