Retiring Congressman Steve Israel sees the writing on the wall

It’s not a good look for the DCCC and national Democrats when establishment poster boy Steve Israel chooses to call it quits.  According to Newsday, Steve Israel is quitting Congress to…wait for it….write a book.

Well then, here’s our idea for a title:

“DEAR NANCY: A NOTE TO THE LIBERAL LADY FROM CALIFORNIA WHO MADE ME UNELECTABLE IN MY MODERATE DISTRICT”

According to the University of Virginia’s Center for Politics, NY-03 has been moved from “Safe D to Toss-up.”
