The Essential Dean Martin Bruce Springsteen Annette Taddeo?

No “greatest hits” collection would be complete without those in Annette Taddeo’s abysmal campaign for Congress.

Taddeo’s campaign has gone so poorly that she now has at least one Democratic primary opponent in Andrew Korge and possibly a second in Joe Garcia — who was spotted in DC last night two blocks from DCCC headquarters.

So without further ado, here is our “Annette Taddeo Greatest Hits.”

  1. Annette Taddeo calls herself a member of the middle class on national television despite being worth $5.7 million and living in a 6,500 square foot mansion.
  2. After seven grueling cumulative hours into her campaign for FL-26, Annette Taddeo cancelled a radio interview because she said she was too tired to call into a local radio show.
  3. Annette Taddeo brags on Twitter about a lavish fundraising event that costs anywhere from $500 to $5,400 per person.  (Because what better way to make it seem like you are in touch with the middle class than to brag about “raking in campaign cash” for a high end fundraiser in a state where the average salary is $40,750?)
  4. That awkward time when Annette “I’m Middle Class” Taddeo tweeted out a picture next to her “for sale” sign at her $5.7 million, 6,500 square foot mansion to prove that she is serious about moving into FL-26.  (and yes, Sotheby’s is indeed a luxury real estate company.)

NRCC Comment:  “Annette Taddeo scoring a primary opponent this late in the game despite having the full backing of Nancy Pelosi and the DCCC is an indictment on Taddeo’s viability as a candidate.  If Taddeo somehow survives a primary against a deep-pocketed Democrat, she will be completely defenseless for the general election.  In the meantime, Carlos Curbelo will continue voting the right way for his district and raising the resources necessary to be successful when it counts – in November.” –NRCC Spokesman Chris Pack
