Yikes — Anna Throne-Holst’s old Democratic colleagues endorse her opponent

Well, this is embarrassing  – Those who worked closest with former Southampton Supervisor Anna Throne-Holst just endorsed her NY-01 primary opponent, Dave Calone.  The list includes nearly every Democrat town board member that worked with Throne-Holst along with county legislators and Democratic town supervisors from neighboring towns.

The fact that Throne-Holst can’t even get Democrats who worked with her to support her Democratic candidacy for NY-01 isn’t a good sign for her campaign.

NRCC Comment:  “It is very telling that the elected Democratic officials who worked with Anna Throne-Holst chose to endorse her Democratic primary opponent.  If Anna Throne-Holst can’t even get the support of Democrats then why would the voters trust her to be effective in the Republican-dominated House of Representatives?” –NRCC Spokesman Chris Pack
