DEBATE WATCH: Will NY-01 Dems finally take some positions?

As you’re painfully aware, watching paint dry has been more exciting than the Democratic primary campaign in NY-01.  But with Anna Throne-Holst and Dave Calone set to square off in their first debate tonight, will they start taking positions on the issues important to Suffolk County families?

Here are a few questions these two Democrats should answer:

1. If you are elected, will you vote for Nancy Pelosi as Speaker?
2. Do you support socialist Bernie Sanders or FBI target Hillary Clinton for President?
3. Do you support the Iran nuclear deal that John Kerry admits will fund terrorist groups?
4. Do you support closing Guantanamo Bay and bringing known terrorists onto American soil?
5. Do you support Lee Zeldin’s bill to stop the sale of Plum Island?
6. Do you support Lee Zeldin’s Safe Bridges Act, which increases funding for bridges in need of repair?
