DCCC pulls website after giving up in 5 races

One year ago, the DCCC launched their “One Term Wonders” website, highlighting their top 16 targets among House Republican Freshmen, along with “clever” one hit wonder song choices they associated with each.

Fast forward to yesterday, when the DCCC unveiled their first round of “Red to Blue” candidates and districts.  Notably absent from the list were 5 of their top 16 targets from just a year ago. Shortly after the NRCC pointed out that the DCCC had given up on competing in these districts, the One Term Wonders website mysteriously disappeared.

The DCCC’s internet woes continued as a spokeswoman liked a tweet sharing the fact that President Obama was “not bullish on House races.”
