Santarsiero can sling mud but not honor fallen Bucks County officer
June 10, 2016
Steve Santarsiero had time to sling mud at Brian Fitzpatrick this week but was too busy to find time to vote on a bill named after a fallen Bucks County police officer from the Newtown Borough Police Department in his own legislative district.
Santarsiero’s missed vote on the Officer Brian Steven Gregg Law is 1 of 16 votes he has missed since using his time in Harrisburg as an excuse as to why he couldn’t debate Brian Fitzpatrick. The bill passed 186-0, with no thanks to do-nothing* Santarsiero.
NRCC Comment: “It’s unfortunate that Steve Santarsiero found time to sling mud in his congressional campaign but couldn’t find time to vote on a bill named after a fallen Bucks County police officer. Steve Santarsiero only cares about his job as a Harrisburg politician when it benefits his campaign for US Congress.” –NRCC Spokesman Chris Pack
*Despite serving as a state representative for over 7 years with periods of Democratic control of the House and a Democratic governor, Santarsiero has never had a bill signed into law.
